I lead the design and construction teams.

4) How do you use your previous experience and/or education to do your job? 
The business I've built and the work I get to do everyday is the culmination of all of my past experiences and education. From degrees in architecture and construction management to a passion for interior design coupled with management roles in the corporate world, Homes and Such brings together everything I love to do ... the visualization of what a space can be, the discovery to ensure it functions for a family with a timeless aesthetic that captures who they are, a process that lets remodeling be [mostly] easy, and an end-result can transforms a house into a home. I was taught that to be a good architect and designer, it’s important and helpful to know how to build. This is true in remodeling, but also in building a business. My education and experiences have prepared me to do what I love everyday and do it in a way that works for both me and my clients. 

5) What do you love about remodeling? 
The process of remodeling is all about problem solving. At the most basic level, something about your space doesn't work. Whether you want a more timeless or modern aesthetic, or there are specific pain points about your home that simply make everyday living harder, remodeling is about identifying what you most need from your home and bringing that vision to life. The creative process is truly something I enjoy. I like to first discover what my clients want and need from their home, and then create a vision and bring it to life in a way they didn't even know was possible. The ability to make the impossible feel possible is a truly rewarding experience.
